Since 2021, JOB-ABLED has partnered with McDonald’s to help facilitate the McCafé Seed Project within a network of Special Needs Schools to help teach students sustainable life skills.

The students are shown how to plant, care and harvest vegetables from the school gardens. 23 Special Needs Schools currently form part of the Seed Project and over 20 000 seeds have been donated to the different schools. 

Students from the participating schools enjoy the project immensely and thrive from the practical learning and implementation of skills.
